Sometimes I think I am living on the edge
The edge of a great hole
A hole that threatens to devour me
But maybe it will empower me

Life is but a test
A test that I strive to pass
But to life there are many parts
And I think I am getting smart

But although I tick along
Trying to sing a merry song
Hurdles are thrown in my way
And they knock me back a way

So I fall but for a while
And get back up again with a smile
It's nice to know that friends are near
Especially those that I hold dear
