the morning comes
you lying there
I watch you breathe
sweet exchange of air.

I take the chance
I cannot stop
the safest place
is lying on top.

I place my head
down on your chest
sweet contentment
an honest rest.

arms wrapped around
our bodies bare
becoming one
sweet exchange of air.
