I have seen Love.
It has a lip ring and an affinity
for anything Andrew Jackson Jihad.
Love does not know how to
tie his shoes properly.
Love wakes me up in the morning to help him
pick out which bow-tie to wear...
Love does not know how to
tie a bow-tie.
Love kisses my stomach
when I get cramps.
After a long night of crying
into his shoulder,
he'll go out at 2am just to get me
french fries.
Love lets me give him
haircuts.
Love remembers my favorite
type of chocolate.
Love lets me steal his
Netflix password.

But most importantly,
Love is there
even when I think
I've lost sight
of him.
