TAPESTRY

This world is wearing thin.

Two dimensional, they move.
In their cars. In their rooms.
Behind the screens that show them a three-dimensional world
that never was.
Never can be.

And I breathe.
Barely.
But there, enough, to exist another moment.
A thread in a tapestry tired and tattered.
Its colors faded, its picture lost.

This world is wearing thin.
And so am I.
