Thank you, Lord,
For getting me up this morning
And letting me cherish another day.
Thank you, Lord,
For the help you have given me
And carrying me through all my trials.
Thank you, Lord,
For the happy days you have blessed to me
And the strength to accomplish your will.
If it wasn't for you there,
None of these things would be possible.
Sometimes I get so caught up
In my needs and wants
That I forget to thank the provider.
I saw a vision in my dreams.
I do not know its meaning now,
But I know it was sent from you.
Maybe it is not for me to understand,
But I thank you, Lord,
For giving me hope and faith to continue.
You have always carried me through.
You have always been a true friend.
The treasures you have provided for me
Can never be taken away or forgotten.
I owe all that I am
All that I will become
To the one with all the Love.
This is my moment to simply say,
"Thank you, Lord!"

Excuse me but what is Non-Erotica?

I totally understand the point that this is Literotia for erotic stories and poetry, however, I do believe that this poem is listed under "Non-erotica" which means non-sexual. I know that this is not the type of poem you would typically see on Literotica, but I don't think the author meant any harm in it at all. I think that it's nice to see something different for a change and actually like it...although I still love my sexual themes.

I have to agree with YDD

This is really a prayer and a site for erotic writing is hardly the place for a prayer.

Nice thoughts tho'.
