my mind was so crowded with words
like legion
they flowed out of my eyes
blinding me

she took her blade
cut away

she pointed
"look"
"learn"

my vision, freed
crisp edges
clean form
a face without cosmetics

beauty

I bowed to my teacher

an eyebrow raised
tiny smile
"you still have much to learn"

I like those tiny smiles

Good phrasing...pulls you right down to your knees ; )

Well done!

Always good

To find a teacher who " takes away" rather than adds.

Sounds like you found a good one.

(And very important to bow)

: )

Nice work
