for an answer to you and me
shall i stay or shall i go
or will i rock your casbah again
yeah we are ended
but like a dozen other times,
did you believe it
did i?
despite the short passage of time
our history
had a way of repeating itself
so where is the finality
my answer came
in your unfollowed up call
asking if i am okay
no matter
what is going on in my life
what my sore battered body may need
be it physical
emotional
or just a friend
i cannot provide you with what you need
so
you do not need me now
i have become an unnecessary phone call
you are too busy to make
untill you have an itch
you want scratched
or your bed needs to be made
unmade
and made again
buy some anti-itch cream
will ya
