The Art of Love

My love
gives me water colored kisses
soft and absorbing
coloring my world

she pens her passion
a fine line
hung a nude portrait
so I may read her needs

brushing the skin
and painting desires
with tender strokes
mixing oils, lust and love

our canvas
a drawing board bed spread
luscious lips pressing prints
upon my soul

Picasso giggles
Michael Angelo finger tips
Leonardo smiles
Van Gogh ear nibbles

sketching embraces
erasing the world
horse hair gripped
finger painting
passionate hot pink

draw a breath
and cock the frame
scream my name
pastel white signature
the art of love
