The beast inside of me
Its rising
Hungry to the core
Denied of flesh for too long
It's fighting to be free

Got to choose the path
Ahead of me
Trail of debris in my wake
No stone unturned
No leaf unlooked
I can be rotten to the core.

You have no idea
What kind I am
Of what I'm capable of
Don't turn your back
Don't mock
I am inside of me.

Of past sins and promises
For these I am so sorry.
Forever yours
The beast.

Beastly verse

I was with you up until: 'I am inside of me' - which is meaningless. Then after a great build of aggression and virility, the ground is cut from under the narrator with a humble apology. A better last verse might strengthen the ending.
