Blank page before me how you stare
How you dare

Blank page before me snowy white
How you cut just like a knife

Blank page you stare at me for days
Driving me into a craze

Blank page you certainly are no friend
So this day I will put you to your end

Blank page I shall prevail
And fill you up from head to tail

The wind you can’t steal from this sale
For over you I will prevail

POET

I found it clever since I know you have written some tremendous tales and this was a very WITTY poem as most writers wrestle with the BLANK page or two...even a jimmy:) from the sassy anon critic of the day. Don't take it personal L~ he wizzed round todays list.

I found your poem to be an enjoyable read and your wit was riddled within its charm. (~_~)

"Writer's Block,

...Writer's Block,"

the blank page taunts you;

something tells me the image here is recognized by most...

From the Author...

NO! LOL Apparently YOU are not a writer for a living...it is not what you get PAID to do everyday...I AM...so SALE as in selling a piece of work is what is meant by the WORD PLAY I used!!

People who do this everyday will catch the IRONY there! LOL ;)

THANKS for the comment though!
