I tell myself not to
but I look for you
each instant the door swings open
when it’s about that time
and if you don’t show
I wonder
will I see you again
or was that the last smile
that graced my day?
You think I have blessed you
but oh, if you only knew
how warm I get inside
whenever I think of you
smile
just one more time
let me hear your soft steps
and see that smile
