I once dreamt of leaving
my children, my home
and my redeemer.

You did swim in my veins,
lover, life giver.
This pain, it doesn't end.

You were the one who helped me grow.
You were the one who healed my wounds.
You were the one who kept me warm.
You've were the one I kept inside.

Why are you killing me
like this, dear? My God,
why fill me with poison?

I beg you and I plead,
as my heart still beats,
don't tear my soul apart.
