Come together

We two and in

Fury, as one

Begin....

Spinning, swirling

Leaping, soaring

In these endless days

These macabre nights...

When distant whispers

Shouted about the halls

Can be heard only

Through ears of glass

and loveless embers

Glaring in lust-filled heat

Pierce the genteel moon...

Whilst the marionettes?

these are laughing ~

I realize in me

They have no fear

So come along, and

Cry with me

We dance a

Solemn dance tonight...

Lie to me,

Shed a tear for me

As we dance

The Dance all night.

I like....

...this a lot, but I disagree with the formatting comments below. I think the spacing detracts from the poetic power of a very strong piece of verse......and the AV on your profile page is terrific!

That

was beautiful.

Well formatted too, made it easy to read. ;-)
