Today your fragrance is not the same
Today it is heavy, dark and musky
In my lungs.

It is a dark and heavy fragrance
It is the darkness of
The night forest
In heat and damp
That builds the throbbing in my blood
The dark forest of your thighs.

The dark red tide,
The midnight red that seeps from your body
And thickens,
The heady musk
Invites me to taste, and enter.

I taste you, worship your femaleness with my mouth.
A slow, dark madness invades my body
Your dark burgundy marks my face, my hands, my beard,
Blesses me with its flow.

You are one with the dark goddesses of old
Who blessed the earth with the blood of their fecundity
Who nourished their lovers and their children
With the dark red tide.

I enter slowly into your body,
Into the temple of blood
Of desire,
Of heat and darkness,
The Temple of Blessedness.

My body is a living flame.
I enter you as a priest of desire.
I possess you,
I possess your darkness ,
I possess
The dark red tide.
