It was another dog found her
(or perhaps I mean it or them) -
her unfinished journey described
by the circle of skin-stripped limbs,
sexless letter-shapes strewn around
a long comma of white, hinged bone;
and at its head, sunk in her head,
one eye set in death-stare skyward,
the other fixed too, but earthbound:
blind, yet seeing her journey home.

such

a talent for description. I loved this line-

"a long comma of white, hinged bone";

as sad as it was, equally as empathetic and beautiful.
