The speed of pain is shown in passing time,
Our hearts collide at endless slashing time.

A knife explores the heart of an hourglass
As seconds fall, crowding the hassling time.

Love-fueled sirens cry a keen tune
As ships sink into the sea-crashing time.

A blinded mate taken down hard by lust
As fair maidens cry at the lashing time.

And I wait for your heart in death, smiling,
And knowing I will see you lasting time.
