simply giving a temple massage to a lover tells much
patient soft touches designed to sooth and calm
just the right pressure at the right places
not random pushes and rubs
but the very essence of love manifested in fingertips gliding across the temples

kisses so soft and warm that convey an innocence of intent
brushes of wet lips across a neck or a chin or a lingering kiss on the lips
hot breath that stimulates and provokes
delicious sensory delights upon your skin
kisses that give assurances of true love

eyes locked together peering into souls
seeing beyond the obvious into the realness of feelings
eyes soft with love and sharp with desire
eyes sending messages of unspoken love
eyes telling more than words can say

words of truth sent through a world of lies
recognized for their simplicity and directness
accepted and relished in understanding
given without fear of rejection
taken in appreciation of their honesty

love sent through space and time
or from your lover next to you
undiminished by separation or distance
love so strong you have to cry
or love so lost you want to die
