Advancing and Retreating
Will you play The Game?

Are you willing to wager All
for but the barest amount in Gain?
Pawn, Knight, Knave?
Will you play The Game?

Love for rent, and Peace for sale
While Violence forever Free
What price for Life? and I ask again,
Will you play the Game?

Dissemble with the greatest ease
Never feeling Guilt or Shame,
In a life full of Chance yet still I ask,
Will you play The Game?

they tell us

the truth in little pieces, its up to us to put it all together. this poem is very real, and perhaps cynical, as we should be at times, when it is ( concerning) matters related to our government :)
