Rewrite of Queen's classic The Show Must Go On

Empty yearning faces, not sure they want to go on living anymore
Abandoned for their choices, how sad that this has to be the score
On and on
Does anybody really understand what it is we hate them for?

Another homo, another mindless crime
Buried and stuffed under the rug is our worse shame
Hold on
Think about it for just a minute here
Does anybody really want these kinds of crimes to go anymore?

The gays must come out
The gays must come out
Inside their hearts are breaking
Because of us
We have forced them into faking
Living the lie of the people they never wanted to be
Dear God when we know what we have done
How can we still carry on?

Whenever it happens we blame it on someone else
Offering no respect or care to know about them
Another heartbreak another forbidden romance
On and on
We drag them on
Through the muddy prejudice of our cruel hearts
Tell me
Does anybody know what we are punishing them for?

I wish we could all just stop hatin' and start learnin'
So that we could begin the healing
Round the corner now
See in the mirror your own wicked self-deception
Before it is far too late and at the good lord's feet we all lay broken
Bleeding
Crying out for the answer in the dark
Aching just to finally be free

The gays must come out
The gays must come out, yeah
Inside their hearts are breaking
Because of us
We have forced them into faking
Living the lie of the people they never wanted to be
Dear God when we know what we have done
How can we still carry on?

Our souls are painted with the horrors of times gone by
False tales we begin to spread yesterday will return to haunt us today
Torturing us till the very moment
If we continue to deny them their rights as our fellow human beings, my friends

The gays must come out, yeah
The gays must come out
If we can face them with a sincere grin
Then maybe to the hell of self pity and suicidal depression they won't give in
Out with the gays

We'll show that we're chill, never again will any of them we try to kill
Together we'll find a way to make it ok
For the whole world to be gay if they want
To come out
Out with the
Out with the gays
The gays must come out
