Her hips flick and curl, gyrating
In rhythm to the breeze
Shoulders roll as hair swishes
Body glistening with moisture beads
Buttocks shake
Coins still jangling to her beat

Bare-breasted
In the firelight
She moves without a care
Stars glisten above her
The earth sings around her
And she glides as if in trance

An empty stump beside the fire
Where her drummer once sat
And played her rhythmic tune
A ghost of what once was
A memory of what would never be
A drum without a beat

She dances ever onward
The earth vibrating through her soul
Magickal energies flowing,
Dancing, pulsing, spiralling within
She needs no man to drum for her
The Queen will dance alone

She dances her solitary seduction
Noticing nothing but the breeze
Trance like, she reaches across the worlds
Nothing moving around her
Like one giant tree
Shadowed against the sky.
