Smoking guns and smoking mirrors
Taken together
lumped always
insecurities are rampant
once broken cannot be brought back

My bones told Me I was doomed to fail
Somehow I knew that
always.
Happiness in life comes fleetingly
-     wisps in the air
-     caressing breezes
Taken together, then thrown away
strewn like so many baubles
in front of believing eyes
dies-believing is what happens
Ridden again and ridden twice
glue nor chewing gum nor the
best wishes of anyone
will never seal back fissured jewels

so all alone the journey began
and all alone now the journey continues
What changed.
Nothing –
Taken again
left again
and for what?
Wait, who goes there coming
In on whispered gloams of soft steps
She came and stood and stayed
Hands incarnate ready to hold
To slake  to give  to have
Whatever He wanted she was.
