Days before, I was her toy
But now, she won't speak to me
She's interested in some other boy

Though, I shouldn't be surprised
This is the way things always go
And, for once, I didn't even cry

She won't even speak to me
I don't know what I've done wrong
But, in a sense, I feel free

Maybe its for the best
Now, I won't be used...
Unless, this is some sort of test

Oh, the confusion!
I wish she would just tell me
I'd ask, but she wouldn't like the intrusion

Either way, she'll try to take control
But, I've had enough of this
I won't give in, just to make her feel whole

I no longer wish to be a mere play thing
Instead, I want a woman to love
Someone, who will make my very heart sing

One day, she'll look back and see
That only one man truly loved her
She drove him away, and that man, was me
