We spin our webs over the void
And beg the gods that the wind doesn't blow
Rain on the river
Silhouettes in a flame
The cold eternal emptiness
That hides behind the sun
And gazes at us with a thousand eyes
Swift blinking in the heavy dark
Is waiting ghostly in the light
Crawling like a shadow in the night
We clutch our gods
And close our eyes
With all our might
