Click hereElevated limbs, sunken stupors
many flock and shrill
Whose is Heard None or all ,
cacophony resounding,
pealing cracked stoned walls
and reddish brown crumbling flakes
drops in the dank earth - It Was sandy?
Coal Tar dark the thoughts;
Match the night birds trill
Landed on the bough
sloughed away all her cares
each Layer peeled slowly
and lovingly
He took as ever He does,
she gave as ever she did.
Was any more left to give ,
to Take.
slowly the embers blazed,
those stoked fires,
those banked flames
Eyes ablaze
lighted on her form Twisted –
Wracked and fluttering
palpitating
gently soothing
The light in the room,
The end of the Hallway ,
That passage,
The curtain flutters again and
quietens slowly
she does finally.
Strong phrases and good imagery as the poet often brings.
I have a little trouble with the juxtaposition of dark and light in some lines,
such as:
"Coal Tar dark the thoughts;
Match the night birds trill"
"Tar dark" and "birds (Sic) trill" don't seem to match to me.
Is it the intention of your poem to match what doesn't?
