The phone rings and I am aquiver
Waiting for your voice
To fill my body with endless pleasure.
I close my eyes
And through our words
We drift to forbidden shores,
Dancing naked in the moonlight
Yet our bodies never touch.
Only our souls intertwine,
Carrying us to the abyss of ecstasy.
We cascade over the edge and tumble together,
Writhing and groaning out our release.
We share so intimately then say ‘goodnight’
And in breathless anticipation
I await the next time
The phone rings.
