The Silence of the Lambs

When all that could be said and done
through the harried, married decades
has been,
Bob and Suzie Lamb,
in bright, fuck-you care home,
fuck-you death
playground colors,
and silent from dawn to dinner,
rest on the beach,
baking in the sun.
