The days are long, the nights are sweet,
I walk alone upon my feet.
The Lord carries me when I'm in need,
and heals my wounds when I do bleed.
The Lord I ask:
"For whom the bells toll three?"
And bowed my head as he said to me.
"Man shall walk across this land,
Always searching for what is at hand.
Never knowing if the path is right,
Desperately searching with endless might.
I shall guide you to your path I choose."
I knew right then that I couldn't loose.
With the Lord at my side I come to thee
I hear the sound, for whom the bells toll three.
