She comes to him for help
To save her body, mind and soul.
His voice is deep, reflective,
His eyes are black as coal.

He takes her to some private place
Holds her; strokes her hair,
Soothes her worries, dries her tears,
Agrees life isn’t fair.

She utters words of gratitude,
Within him something stirs;
Physical appreciation
Is something he prefers.

Part of him resists,
But part is wanting more
And the voice urging carnality
Is coming to the fore.

The girl protests; in his eyes
She sees his new intention.
He brushes off her fears with ease
No need now for pretention.

With soft words of seduction,
Hands gentle on her skin,
Igniting the desire in her;
Insisting she give in.

He makes her groan, he makes her writhe,
Submerges her in lust.
God’s light of day
Cannot survive inevitable dusk.

And in the cloak of darkness
Their minds and flesh give in,
To deepest wanton yearnings
And tempting thoughts of sin.

In full control he now commands;
She gets down on her knees.
No hands in supplication,
No earnest prayer or pleas.

Her body, mind and open mouth
A vessel for his needs;
He holds her head with firm strong hands
As on desire she feeds.

He gives a gasp and tenses
as she drinks his sinful seed,
Pleased to sate his hunger
Sacrificing her own need.

But with release, the spell it breaks,
Light floods his darkened mind,
And guilt and loathing deep ingrained,
Leave no room to be kind.

Recoiling, he shouts insults;
She’s a sinning, lustful whore.
He straightens out his cassock,
Leaves her sobbing on the floor.

Post-coital depression hits !!!

& it hits hard ; unloaded of the biological need to seed ; self-loathing , in French "le petit mort" or the little Death , guilt , anti-climax or what-have-you hits the male in the solar plexus !!! ergo he spouts religious scripture to insult the poor girl !! this scenario has repeated itself throughout centuries throughoutthe world where rich , powerful famous males or females have first preyed on the weaker partner or some minor who is in their fidicuary power & later abused them , their rights !! landlords , moneylenders , dictators , presidents , prime ministers , cardinals , rabbis , Brahmins , Ayatollahs ,filmstars , athletes , movie producers all have sexploited !!!

in Hollywood i believe it's called the casting couch !

Wow...

I loved the flow and carefully chosen words; but I especially loved the clergy twist at the end. Upon second reading I picked up on all the subtle hints. This is definitely worthy of a 5!

You, sir, are a POET!!!

OK Corpse_rider

I've noticed comments, I see an major effort at organization. New writer 5. Some questions to inflict on yourself. You have a rhyme scheme. maintained except for... why, tricky, two questions here.

You tell a story, of she and he, consider the impact if they had names. Writing is a bitch. Reading is also. "greenmountaineer" go read a few of his.
