LEMONIA (F)LEAP EDELTRAUD => AND SO, YOU ALL GO...

HILLSIDE
EARLY MORNING
19/6/2013

"THE THING"

I'll carry on as a betrayed lover,
Also as a degraded musician,
But never so as an unfaithful dreamer,
Only as an obscure and fake magician.

I'll give to you all of my fake magic,
I'll sing for you and I will sweep the floor,
I'll fuck you if some night you fell nostalgic,
And give you a wet dream for something more.

The morning mirror is your only face,
It is where all your ugliness resides,
You look just like "The Thing" from outer space,
Observing humans but not taking sides.

The sides are all taken by your foes,
I'm only a poor charlatan who's dreaming,
From top goose pimples go to your toes,
But you can't even hear your own screaming.
