A blossoming tulip
Caressed by a morning sun
Shows bright in the vast meadow

A vase at home
Empty upon the table
Its desire in its existence

The transcendent tulip
Reflecting in the glass
Sees itself for the first time

Withered now
The empty vase
Knew only a stem
No water within
