The Visit

You came to me many times that night. Not as a caress, as from a lover, but in a way that was violent.

You came as a force that could not be ignored. At no time were you subtle in what you wished me to see or feel. It was painful at best.

The shaking you provided me after each visit was more than enough to wear me down.

Your final visit was a bolt of fear and a longing for much peace, which I finally had in the late hours of the early morning.

What gave you the right to invade my mind that way? You were not invited there!

What was so important in your message that I had to witness it thrice in one evening?

Who is it supposed to affect this time? You gave me broad hints that I was to see this.

What am I supposed to do with this vision?

Nightmares are a vision I don't need nor desire to have.

Please just go away and cause someone else the anxiety
