Built stone by stone
One hardship piled atop another

Surrounding a field of jaded grass
Cut sharp as knives with words

Alone I sit on a lonely rock
Slightly off center

Do I dare the razor sharp grasses?
Everyone thinks I do

Others think me a happy lark
Still others a shallow pool

I am but a girl
Walking on wounded feet

I can hear others' laughter
No too far away

I cannot see
I canot feel

Will this wall ever crumble?
