By cover of shadows, there lies my gaze,
In silence I watch, till the end of days.
My sight fall true, upon beauty so fare,
But distance be traveled, of a Watcher's Stare.

By silence of shadows, there rings my voice,
I whisper your name, but cannot rejoice.
My cry falls short, my words not long,
But lonely I stay, singing a Watcher's Song.

By depth of shadows, there travels my gate,
I try to run forth, but there is my fate.
My tread finds no purchase, and we cannot meet,
But forever I journey, down a Watcher's Street.

By the softness of shadows, there lies my touch,
I reach out to you, for the caress I miss much.
My arms held out empty, to hold you in embrace,
But that small warmth you feel, is a Watcher's Trace.
