I find the thought of you
Losing control
Extremely erotic

Eyes closed, hands between my legs
I picture you
Losing control
In that moment of
Lust
Loss
Release
Creation

I'm also jealous
with no right to it

And I'd like to slap you
with some right to it

And I can't help but feel
responsible
for telling you to go
when all I wanted
was for you to stay
For forever.

And now...what?
As always, I follow.
Time for you to tell me to leave?
Time to laugh and accept it for what it was?
And mourn for what it never will be?
Or time to press on
Until our paths converge once again
On the bumpy road to love

"and I'd like to slap you...

...with some right to it" So well put. I think my wife could have written that...

you can't take that away from me

Interesting play with an old jazz standard. But never let a bump in the road become a road block, just a plot twist.
