Darkness rises as I fall deeper and deeper into a seemingly endless well. Before my eyes the walls grow taller at a phenomenal rate. I reach out to grasp at anything to keep me from falling to my death, to no avail. I am going too fast. Fear has taken over me, as I can no longer move, I am unable to look into the darkness below. My heart is beating faster and faster, my stomach seems like it is lodged in my throat, silenced are my screams of terror. I stare up at the light from which I fell from; inside I suddenly realize I am not alone any longer. Blackness surrounds me as an agonizing pain cuts through me. The well was not as endless as I had hoped.
