His hands reach
as I am at worship
The touch
So needy and feverish
The trees and I glisten
Newborn to the world
Giants
Dripping tears of joy
Open their leave in praise
Even as I do
The earth screams its frenzy
My silence must remain
He plunges in my depths
Seeking nourishment
Hungry root
The tides change
The world awakens
A fire quickened in my core
The night explodes
I cry out my pleasure
and we are silent.
