....there was a time....
I looked in the mirror and knew the man
I had a hold...my feet on the ground
the times have come
when I don't recognize my own image
the eyes in the mirror don't look as mine
the grasp I once had on life
it ain't so tight
all the issues...they've turned gray
all the people...they've turned gray too....
and I long for when....
....there was a time....
