The cool breeze rustling through the trees,
a smile and the sound of a laugh on a childs lips,
the scent of peach blossoms with the buzz of bees
the smooth steps of a dance turning to a sudden dip
that first touch of lips in your first kiss
the soft sand squishing between your toes
sitting with an old friend to reminisce
watching someone you love doze.
the sound of the ocean washing up on the shore
taking a long walk at dawn to hear the birds sing
slidding in your socks across a hardwood floor
being gently pushed while on a wooden swing
the sound of trickling water over rocks
the warmth of the sun beating down on your face
a childs instant glee while playing with building blocks
the feel of chenille, satin, velvet and chantilly lace
The scents of flowers as they bloom
the gossamer strands on a spiderweb covered in dew
that special scent of your mothers perfume
the first trip I ever took to the nearby zoo.
