I've laid to rest so many
from this curse that inflicts me
There is no conscious, no frail miseries ...
I've taken by subtly the innocent
and those not so by their own vanity
And laid waste to the very string of insanity ...
So many decades before on a lonely eve
I did walk, was tempted, and fell to one
Who promised the very fabric of time, the
depletion of Sun ...
In shadowed realms I now walk in bitterness
there is no tenderness or humanity left
The curse has taken all emotion as a gift ...
I've drawn blood, watched it pour
stained this white pale skin a rosy hue
Appalled and enthralled, enraged and subdued ...
I seek at points the one who gave this to me
there is a gift all my own I wish to share with thee
It's in tracking his steps, in that I shall see ..
I am confused, alone, afraid, and yes unclear
this inner rage of lust that knows no border
Cares nothing for the lives of any mortal ...
I am a monster, yet deep still within this form
is a soul torn and tattered, but still there
Forced into submission when the night appears ...
Beware of the stranger, in dark that draws near
and is whispering words that are not always clear
Drawing you forth, unto an altar of blood ...
This is the curse of which Vampire is made of ...
