I

The way I see a blackbird,

Is by looking at the beast,

By merely looking at the nature within.

II

I see the black feathers.

III

I see the beady black eyes.

IV

I see the sharp black beak.

V

I see the omen that flies in packs.

VI

I see the loner that signifies the end.

VII

I see the pack that protects its young with the darkness.

VII

I see the light within the darkness.

IX

And even the darkness within the light.

X

I see the power that it withholds.

XI

I see the weakness that others pray upon.

XII

I see what happens to the all.

XIII

But then again it is just a blackbird.
