When I was a child
I was a little crazy and a little wild
I could not understand
some of the things you would say or do
at times I thought
you were a mean mother
and wished for a nother
but thats when I was looking
Through The Eyes Of A Child
now I am a mother
and I am glad I never got a nother
cause now I see you were only doing your best
and I had much more then the rest
I understand more now on everything
you said and done
for I am now looking through the eyes of
a mother.
