as he inches his way
down the dark narrow hall
he has nothing to say...
since his secret intent
is just not to fall

he continues to grope
down this path somewhat bent
that coils like a rope
or like a slithering eel...
on this track he is sent

by a mysterious force
like a blind man to feel
down this bleak eerie course
to distinguish the truth
to unriddle whats real...

so like a moth in the night
or a drunk whos uncouth
he just looks for the light
as he stumbles his way
through the tunnel of truth.
