Time and Wind

I am feeling it go by me.
It seems to be a whisper at times and a strong steady force at others.
They are ageless yet changing at the same time.

It is this basis of change that makes it as much about power as it is about time.
The changes can be good or not.
And, like the tale of Goldilocks, there is the one that is just right.
They are a form of creation and destruction in a real sense as well as in a perceived way.

They both move at a steady pace and yet they can feel as slow as torture or as speedy as a tornado.
In the heat of a day it may feel as if one is languishing while at others we sprint through it and wonder what happened as it is now over.
Our attitudes change and our feelings may become raw when either is in play.

And yet we create our days around this commonality of these two daily phases in our lives.
It creates weather, landscape changes, needs and wants. We dress for both.
We meet others, based on both, at a third party, as location now joins us for its daily visit.

Deadlines, starting times and customer needs all revolve around a combination of this duo.
For as time is of the essence, the winds are what causes the variables to come into play.
We continue to think of them as being separated and yet they are the same.
And in the end they bring change.
