I look down that road
of long ago,
it was you
I use to hold.

Before me lay
a deserted highway,
that will take me
even farther away.

But, from Time to Time
I still hold you
in my mind.

I pull out a picture
of us together,
remembering the sun shine
and the stormy weather.

We held each other
filled with love,
vaguely remembering
when push come to shove.

But, from Time to Time
I still love you
in my mind.
