It is sometime after midnight as you are sleeping gently on the sofa with me
Sensing the warmth of your breath on my neck as my shoulder is your pillow
For I pick up the phone everyday to dial the numbers just to hear you breathing
Imagining I am caressing every inch of your body as you only want for more
Feeling that your legs are twisted around mine as I am halfway spooned to you
Being that I am laying here with you all my thoughts pull you close holding on
Needing to tell you so much that you are what my dreams have been made of
And desiring to give you my heart like I have never given it to anyone before
For I do not want to be away from you and that I want you near me always
To wonder that when I am not with you wanting to know what your thinking
An if it is me that crosses your mind when you share your thoughts in a lover
Because I never want to cry these tears I shed for you in the dark any longer
As I see your blue eyes that are staring into mine pulling my soul into yours
An to truly feel your love for me when you say those three words "I love you!"

So now, I desire to feel your lips pressed into mine with this passionate kiss
To feel your soft flesh burning with desire an to feel your electrifying touch
For to feel you is to love you being everything to me that is in my very life
And with a simple ring here on bended knee to ask you if you will be my wife
