The argument rages
Both sides shouting louder
The other couldn't be right
Not in any way

Except for this little thing
And perhaps that

It is a little frightening
The way black and white
So adamant and separate
Turns slowly to grey

One piece at a time
A compromise of ideals

So confusing sometimes
When the world changes
And all the paths are shaken
Everything soon in doubt

Standing now quietly thinking
Staring dumbly at the floor

Absolutely beautiful Wd!

Such fluid writing and there is such innocence (really!) that comes across in the narrator's voice, meditative and honest. One of your best, so far, in my opinion and thanks for sharing it, :-)
