Be Spring time now to my Autumn heart
And in time's round play the loving part
Let your youth's lips bring life to mine
And in your smile, a draught of wine

For now, alone, I sit and wait
Forsaking all, but for this fate
To win your love and heart forever
And leave your side, not now, nor ever.

If words could be like diamonds strewn
If wishes could bring stars and moon
If hopes could make the world stand still
Then to this I would bend my will

That you could see the truth I write
That I am yours for day and night
If ever love was made and promised
My love for you is true, and honest.

Nice

This the same girl you wrote the heartache poem over? Not a bad poem.
