I only hurt when I don't cry
Only I can't cry anymore
Tears have burned valleys into my soul
Where laughter can only echo
Only I don't laugh anymore
I know some things hurt me
When I let them pierce my flesh
Only I don't bleed anymore
So I stab and spit and curse
Letting blows rain down on me
Only I don't feel anymore
Not tonight
Tomorrow, who knows?
