traces in the sand fade
not from memory sublime
tender furrows of the fingers brush
applied in thought cast in distraction

canvas of a billion lights transparent
yet together weave

swathed lithe the body beckons
longing warm embrace of beauty pours
to sift through sparkling fingers
strewn like jewels in worship at the feet

soft bed of endless folds cries out
in night to be as one complete

cool dark the mystery hidden neath
the warmth and silken wonder
salt tang murmur soothes and strokes
the spirit rises union strives to meet

with gentle sighs of warmth delivered
flows to wake subsiding bleeds
and wipes a furrowed brow to blankness
drifting spiraling out to

sleep
