Tumble tales from your lips
the next time I talk to you.
Tell me how to get to the X on the map
I am following the broken dot clues.
Or have you already taken me far enough?
I think it’s high time to let go
sink in this sand you’ve surrounded me in
there’s treasure right here, I know.

first two lines are in the beat

then you sort of slip up with the 'x on the map'. I would've dropped the rhyme and went free verse, say exactly what you mean. Very good job though.
